Summer Body On A New Level | Habits and Mindset

and then one day it hit me… I need to move my body in order to elevate my life as well as my mind. It’s one thing to sit still and meditate but its a whole different thing to move your body and connect your physical, mental and spiritual.

so here we are. Back on our fitness journey once and for all.

Health is a lifestyle. It is comprised of a bunch of little decisions that equal up to your actions that turn into your daily actions and habits… These habits make up your lifestyle which makes up your life. its like the tiny strokes that make up a masterpiece. These little actions make up your entire lifestyle so why not choose one that invites you to live longer and healthier?

You should know that you are worthy of the good things life has to offer including it’s food and healthy things. It’s all simply a choice that you get to make.

Let’s talk about how you can get your summer body ready but on a new level

I like to start my fitness journeys with fasting… there’s just something about only consuming water, fresh ginger and fresh fruits for a few days. Feeling your body get lighter and more conscious of what you put in it is truly powerful, beautiful even.

After my fasting, I like to get back into working out. There’s nothing like daily walking and moving my body at least 3x a week. I jump in where ever i can with out excuses. Meaning I don’t wait until Monday, next week or next month… I get started with my routine depending on the day pf the week i am on. It’s important to have a fitness routine because without structure, you will have nothing to follow and stick to.

Once, I get into the swing of my workouts I take extra care to nourish my body for my health and gains. There’s no point of working out if i wont fuel myself with the things that a necessary for me to progress. This part is vital because it helps your hard work and dedication come through. The point of fasting is to rid yourself of harmful or poor food and lifestyle choices so that you can have a clean slate to build upon. You can build with a bad foundation, and if you do best believe it won’t last long.

Physicals Fitness and eating is only 2 pieces to the puzzle. The last piece is your mind.. You want to be able to connect your mind to your body and spirit. Once you have it in your mind that you are going to do something or reach a certain goal.. It’s more likely to get done. Even with building muscle they tell you they you miind that mind body connection.

Somethin that helps me with my mind body connection is slow paced workout… Like walking and even pilates. But truth be told.. Nothing beats yoga for me. Its something about the magic within yoga, the connection with myself and the slowness. The intention and the vibes are just unmatched… If you haven’t tried yoga give it a try. There’s so many youtube videos that you can follow that will guide you on your journey. I highly recommend making it a regular practice. I personally like to do 30 day Yoga Challenges with adrinne. It’s so easy to follow along and keeps me on track. Best of all it’s free and I can do it in the privacy of my own home.

I hope this post was useful because these are the things i am doing to build my summer body on a whole different level. I intend on this becoming a natural part of my life again for good. Remember true health is a lifestyle.
