Finding My Peace | How to find peace in your life

It wasn’t until I realized that I needed peace that I went searching for it. Sometimes life can go so fast that when you blink your eyes so much time has passed and your left wondering…. damn.. where did the time go? Sometimes it would be a small feeling.. like i was missing something and i felt anxious for a bit..

While other times it was so overhwelming that I couldn’t help but give it my full attention and search for it until I found it.

I was now aware of my missing peace and ever since then I’ve been on a journey to find it.

Peace can look different for everyone… I think its very important to find what peace means to you. You can’t find something if you don’t know what you’re looking for.

For me, peace looks like stillness, quietness and softness. It’s in the little moments… Its in the. little things that turn into bigger things. It’s in living itself. Sometimes Iike a faster paced life but when I’m ready for my peace, I’m ready for my peace.

Peace is my 5am mornings with my daily morning routines, peace is within my reading and journaling times, my meditation times, my yoga times… Peace is within my glam days or days I go shopping…

For me I have learned to find peace in everything because I decided I wanted my peace.

I have so much peace that I have peace even when it feels like I do not. I truly feel so zen…

I found that my peace was in my intention and my dedication. Through those things I was left fulfilled. I had to plan out my peace and experiment with my peace until it felt just right.

I believe peace is forever changing so peace may look different for you at different points and phases of your life. Peace is so versatile and so abundant that there’s enough of it for everyone. It’s not reserved. It’s given to those who seek it. Only then will you be able to find it and cultivate it.

Take time to live a more intentional life, a more slow life… Think about what can bring more peace in your life. Find ways to bring it in and cultivate more of it. Remember, there is no cap on peace. There’s more than enough, you just have to choose it for you.
